What you can expect from us at your first appointment
We will welcome you to our office, get you signed in on our Patient Sign In Computer and begin your appointment promptly and on time. One of our friendly team members than will go ahead and take complimentary digital X-rays and photos. After this you will visit with our Doctor and our expert treatment coordinator for a full, comprehensive orthodontic examination. The Doctor will review your clinical diagnosis with you, explaining in detail any treatment recommendations while answering all of your questions. If the Doctor feels you are ready for treatment, we can get you started that day with impressions.
Visiting the Dentist during Orthodontic Treatment
It is very important that you continue to visit your family dentist once every six months, or as mentioned by your dentist, during your orthodontic treatment, for teeth cleanings and routine dental checkups.
Please ask your dentist if having the wires taken out prior to a cleaning appointment would be helpful, this way the orthodontic team members, and your dentist team members, can coordinate the schedule for you to get an appointment to get the wires taken out and also put back on after the cleaning appointment.
